Hi friends,
I’m thrilled to announce that I have been awarded a national grant from the Spanish Government, effective from September 2023. This significant achievement was made possible through the collaboration with my esteemed teammates, Dr. Eda Sayin and Dr. JK Kim, and I’m deeply appreciative of their invitation to join this project and for the subsequent successful outcome that we’ve achieved together.
The grant, totaling €29,625, is allocated as part of the “Knowledge Generation Projects 2021-2023” and is administered through the Agency State of Investigation, under the Ministry of Science and Innovation, Spain. I will serve as a Project Team Member on “Equipping Consumers Against the Manipulative Practices of Companies.”
In addition, I’m delighted to share the publication of my recent research, which encompassed data collection from Australia during my tenure at the University of Melbourne. This paper was co-authored with Dr. Young Kim, a notably prolific and enthusiastic scholar in the field, and Mr. Austin Chang, a former advisee during his master’s program. Notably, our research has been published in Corporate Communications: An International Journal, a respected outlet listed in the IE top journal list.
The citation for our publication is: Shim, K., Kim, Y., & Chang, C. (2023).
