I am beyond thrilled to share some incredible news with all of you! Our paper, “The Era of Populism: The Role of Binding Ethics and Partisan Press in South Korea,” has been officially accepted for presentation at the Eastern Communication Association (ECA) 2025 Annual Convention in Buffalo, New York!
What makes this even more special is that our paper has been selected for the Top Paper Panel within the Political Communication Interest Group. This is a tremendous honor, and I am deeply grateful for the opportunity to present our research on such a significant platform.
A huge shoutout to my amazing co-author, Sung Yoon, who is currently serving as the YTN New York correspondent, for the hard work and dedication that went into this project. This research explores the intersection of populism, media ethics, and the role of partisan press in South Korea, a topic that continues to shape public discourse and democratic engagement.
For those attending ECA 2025, I hope to see you in Buffalo! Let’s connect, discuss, and engage in meaningful conversations about political communication and media influence.
Stay tuned for more updates as we prepare for this exciting event!
